Check in this order
- 2K settings: Shot Timing to Shots and Layups. Anything else and the script cannot time shots.
- 2K settings: Shot Meter Off. A meter narrows the green window.
- Controller in A1.
- LED not black. If it is, the kill switch is on: hold PS button + R2.
- Open the menu (L2 + Options) and check the page you expect to fire is On, not Off.
- Test in online MyCourt, not offline. Offline timing differs.
Full settings table
| Setting | Value | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Shot Timing | Shots and Layups | Mandatory — on any other setting the script has nothing to time. |
| Shot Meter | Off | Meter on narrows the green window. |
| Shot Feedback | All Shots | So you can see early / late and adjust the value. |
| Visual Cue | Jump or Set Point | yew's recommendation. |
| Pro Stick | Shots and Dribbles, or Shots Only | Shots and Dribbles if you use the Dribble pages. |
| Controller deadzones | ~5% on both sticks | Raise if the stick drifts. |
If shots fire but miss
That is tuning, not hardware. For every auto-green: early → raise the value; late → lower the value. yew's own framing is around 70% with good values, not 100%. A slow or hitchy jumpshot will brick with sensible values; fast, straight releases give the widest windows.
